Hi Andrew,
Have you got a version of bootloader that will work with CCS, dsPIC33 and ENC28J60 without too much effort please?
If so, I will purchase it by return! |

Hi,
No and Yes :-)
I do not have a native CCS version of the bootloader for this combination however, bootloader does not care what tool chain is used to compile your end application.
I have a bootloader you can use available in both standard and encrypted versions however it is compiled using the Microchip C16 or XC16 compiler. These compilers are free and can be used in either the MPLAB or MPLAB-X IDEs.
On a different note, if this is for a new hardware platform, why would you use an ENC28J60 when the ENC424J600 family is a far more capable controller and supports 100Mbps? There are lots of switches being developed today that no longer support 10Mbps ethernet. _________________ Regards, Andrew

Great, that’s all good. I think I had answered my own question from your website, which I have passed to a colleague.
We stuck with 10M because we are using drops of short lengths of non-twisted pair and terminal block style junction boxes onto the backbone, but appreciate your input regarding modern switches, thank you very much. |
