Hi All,

I tested this issue with PCH 5.051, and 5.081, with no changes noted. On power up, I don't see anything on the scope at 0%, I see 25%, 50%, and 75%, but the trace remains unchanged from 75% when it's supposed to be 100%. So, 0% & 100% aren't working correctly with my hardware.

Long shot, but could this be related to using the PLL3X & CPUDIV3 fuses? That seems to be the only difference between my hardware configuration, and other hardware running the same code which IS working??

Thanks,

Jack

I'm querying the scope setup. Remember a scope set to the default 'auto' trigger, won't trigger on a stationary signal. If set to trigger on the falling edge, it wouldn't trigger and would just stay displaying the last signal seen. The 75% duty cycle waveform....

Hi All,

OK, well this is embarrassing! I went back again and carefully viewed the PWM output on the scope to be sure that the trigger level settings would allow me to capture everything I thought I should be capturing, and in fact it really IS working! All three versions 5.050, 5.051, and 5.081.....

Pardon me now while I go bang my head on the wall for a while! Embarassed

Anyway, thanks to all for the help and guidance on this matter!!

Look on the bright side , you FOUND the problem AND FIXED it !! That's TWO gold stars you earned today.

And...

you'll probably never make that mistake again

That's worth a silver star.

There are several of the posters here who are probably having memories of doing the same.....

That's why I raised the question. Been there. Embarassed
