Well guys I have no idea what I was doing before but started fresh today and I have 180nS pulses with the software SPI. Not sure if before I was using the one command or not but it seems fine now. I still may implement the hardware SPI with a DMA when it running the neopix just to allow other stuff to happen because i have to send to like 200 leds at a time, all the time because they are constantly changing. Sorry for the trouble on this one.
