ICD-S problems
PostPosted: Thu Nov 13, 2003 7:07 am     Reply with quote

Hi

I have a problem with my ICD-S.
It started when I was about to test some code in debug. The IDE told me that the ICD doesn't support that kind of operation (a reset) and then started to complain about the firmware.
I restarted the PCW and when I try to connect to the ICD a message box appears that has the following: Could not connect: No response from icd, The firmware loaded is wrong.

PCW is 3.180 and ICD-S firmware is (was?) 1.15.

I have ran into the same problem. when the icd-s is downloading a new os to the icd-s the power supply on the target board was not enough to properl power the icd-s. as a result the icd-s needed to be reloaed manually. there is a five pin connector inside the icd-s to do this.
